Doors equipped with automation (electrically controlled opening and closing systems) include additional security beyond the material strength of the doors resisting attempts at unauthorised entry. Side hinged doors can be designed to open outwards or inwards, to offer pedestrian or full access. Sectional doors can be built with a wicket (or inset) door to allow for pedestrian access. In both cases, the doors are fitted with rebated seals for maximum weather protection and minimal heat transference.
