In 50 years of installing double glazing in the South East of the UK, we’ve learned that home security is a priority. That’s why every window style in our range is fitted with window safety locks that exceed current building regulations. Our range of window locks and window hardware includes multi-point locks, advanced handles, and restrictors. They’re regularly tested to demonstrate resistance to forced entry, so you can be sure that your home is safe and secure.

When the key is turned to lock the window, metal studs that are placed on the inside of the handle catch into a plate that’s on the window frame. Keyless non-locking window handles are also an option, featuring a user-friendly internal button that’s ideal for fire-escape windows.
Our window handle collection also includes pear drop handles, pendant handles, and monkey tail handles. Our window handles work in the same way as an espag handle for simple functioning but aren't key-operated. Their specification provides the same protection for your home from the outside and inside. They're compatible with both multi-point locks and shoot bolt systems.
For improved security in aluminium or uPVC windows, all of our window styles are fitted with multi-point locks. Most multi-point lock systems include three vertical slots and when closed these bolt to three hooks on the window frame. Unlike older window security locks that only bolt in one place, the window is secured at several points around the frame—multi-point locks can reduce your home insurance costs.
Shoot bolts extend inwards or outwards at the top and bottom of the window, securing it to the outer frame. The adjustable mushroom cams secure the frames tightly together. Not only does this increase the security of a window design, but it also works as a protective seal keeping the sash and frame tightly closed and the weather out.
Window beading runs along the edges of the window, holding the glazing panes firmly in place. It serves to protect the glazing from movement like a strip of putty in a traditional wooden framed window.
Windows can either be internally or externally beaded. If it’s external, the beading will be visible on the outside of the window, whilst internal beading is hidden within the frame.
External beading is common on timber windows and heritage uPVC windows as it will retain the authentic wooden appearance found on older properties. Nowadays, most modern double or triple glazed windows are internally beaded.
Commonly used as a casement window lock, they can also be incorporated into tilt and turn and bay windows. Window restrictors constrain window opening. Choose from cabin hooks, concealed restrictor arms, cable restrictors, and sash jammers that are located on the window frame.
